This bill would require the Commissioner of Consumer and Worker Protection to seek to coordinate with and request data from New York State to create an online dashboard, updated weekly, that displays rates of employee participation in the New York State Secure Choice Savings Program. The Commissioner of Consumer and Worker Protection would also be required to seek to coordinate with and request data from New York State to complete a study and annual report on the program and be required to conduct outreach and education on the program with a focus on community districts with the lowest rates of retirement saving. Finally, the Commissioner of Small Business Services would have to provide training and education to employers in navigating the program.
