This bill would require that the New York City Police Department (NYPD) publish certain Department policies and provide the public with an opportunity to comment prior to implementing such policies. This notice and comment requirement would apply to policies that provide guidance to NYPD officers on enforcement priorities and directives, and how to engage with members of the public.
