This bill would require the Department of Transportation (“DOT”) to allow pedicabs to use taxi relief stands and taxi and for-hire vehicle relief stands. In addition, the bill would require DOT to create fifteen relief stands in Midtown Manhattan that would be exclusively available to pedicabs and where pedicabs could stand or park for up to one hour.
