This bill would require the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation (DOT) to install at least 30 modular public bathrooms by June 26, 2031. In identifying potential sites for such modular public bathrooms, the Commissioner would have to consider various factors, including proximity to an existing or planned bicycle parking station. The Commissioner, or other relevant agency as designated by the mayor, would also be required to conduct a study regarding additional strategies that could be used to help improve public bathroom access for delivery workers.
