This bill would require the Department of Transportation (“DOT”) to regularly study lighting conditions under elevated structures and, if there is insufficient lighting, install pedestrian lighting fixtures to sufficiently light the sidewalk underneath the structure, if feasible. This bill would also require DOT to report on lighting conditions and the installation of lighting.
