This bill would require the Department of Transportation (DOT) to permit funeral firms to apply for an annual parking permit, which could only be used by a funeral director for the purpose of parking an authorized funeral vehicle in an available space where parking is prohibited by posted sign, for up to four hours on the roadway adjacent to a funeral establishment where such funeral director is performing official duties, subject to certain conditions.
