This bill would require the Commissioner of Information Technology and Telecommunications to create a specific 311 service request category that allows individuals to file requests for service and complaints regarding the confinement of an incarcerated individual, or an issue, condition, practice, or action within city jails. The Commissioner would be required to publish a record of these service requests and update each service request to reflect its most recent status.
