This bill would allow pedicabs to be equipped with an electric motor of less than 750 watts that provides assistance when a pedicab driver is pedaling, and which stops providing assistance when the pedicab reaches a speed of 15 miles per hour or any other speed determined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) by rule.
