This bill would allow city agencies to request voluntary disclosures from bidders on city contracts for artificial intelligence tools about their efforts to identify and address the environmental impact, sustainability, and energy usage of their tools. The Director of the Mayor’s Office of Contract Services would be required to create a standardized form that city agencies would use when requesting these voluntary disclosures.
