This bill would require the Department of Buildings (“DOB”) to conduct a study on the racial, geographic, and socioeconomic disparities in the enforcement and outcome of building violations. The bill would then require DOB to submit to the mayor and the speaker of the Council a one-time report on the findings of the study.
