The bill would require such facilities to disclose standard charges and price ranges for commonly offered services, provide written or electronic estimates for certain higher-cost services upon request, and provide itemized receipts. The bill would also require the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) to establish and maintain a publicly accessible website to display aggregated average prices for common veterinary procedures.
