This bill would require the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications, through the NYC311 customer service center, to develop and maintain a new complaint category to allow the public to report unattended powered mobility devices in common areas of multifamily residential buildings. NYC311 would refer complaints submitted under this category to the New York City Fire Department for resolution.
